<p>One of the most enduring and recognizable pieces of iconography from the <a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" href=" target="_blank"><em>Star Wars</em> universe</a> is the lightsaber. From the original 1977 movie, viewers watched Jedi Knights use a variety of colored lightsabers. More shades were added over the years. The first film, <em>Star Wars Episode: IV — A New</em> <em>Hope</em>, features blue and red blades in the initial combat we see between the light and dark sides. The film series has continued to feature more colors, such as green and purple. And as the franchise has extended beyond the nine Skywalker Saga movies into other <em>Star Wars</em> canon—including spinoff films, live-action TV series, animated shows, and comics—even more unique
