Marianne Williamson knows exactly what she would do as president if elected.
Williamson, who is facing off against the incumbent president Joe Biden in the 2024 election for the Democratic Party nomination, is currently running to be the nominee of the Democratic party. Williamson says that the people in the oval offices must do more to protect the rights of women and LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as racial minority groups.

She tells Sonia Baghdady, Advocate Now: “One of the things I would do first is declare a special status of protection for the transgender communities.” “I’d also instruct my Department of Justice in a vigorous investigation and prosecution of any civil rights violation against transgenders.”
Williamson, if she is elected, says she will also immediately stop the Willow Project. She would also push to close military facilities around the world. Williamson notes that she does not understand “why we have 800.” Williamson would “cancel the U.S. Government’s contracts with union-busting companies.”
Williamson also emphasizes the importance of workers’ rights in his platform. Although a majority of Americans earn the minimum wage, not a single state has implemented it.
