Britney Spears is reported to be returning to music with Sir Elton John.
According to TMZ: Page Six, the duo will be teaming up for a new version of John’s 1972 classic “Tiny Dancer.”
Page Six reports that they met in secret at a Beverly Hills recording station last week. Universal Music is expected to drop the single next year. The insider source told the tabloid, “This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of ‘Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet — and it is incredible.”
Since coming out of her 14-year conservatorship in November 2021, fans have been anticipating Britney’s return. On July 15th, she posted herself singing her 1998 hit, “…Baby One More Time.” She captioned the video, “I haven’t shared my voice in an extremely long time… maybe too long… and here’s me playing at my house with a different version of ‘Baby.’”
Britney has been discussing the next chapter in her career, according To People. “Tiny Dancer” may be the perfect way for her to get back into making music.
The 40-year-old star shared her love for the song back in 2015 with a tweet, saying, “Tiny Dancer #EltonAlways @eltonofficial.”
