Brandy Clark’s latest album is her personalest yet.
Since May, the out-country musician has released her self titled album and is enjoying her “return to her home.” She tells Tracy E. Gilchrist Equal Entertainment This is the most “me” of all my recordings.

Brandi Carlile was Clark’s producer and the inspiration behind many of the album’s themes. Carlile is the one who first suggested that Clark explore her northwest roots.
